Nadine Hempkin, BCBA, MSc, BSc
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst
Nadine started her ABA career back in 2018 working as a home ABA therapist with Pathway to Learning, with a focus in Early and Intensive Behavioural Intervention. Since this, Nadine has worked both in Northern Ireland and the USA to gain her rich ABA experience and has worked with some of the top researchers and clinicians in the field. Nadine has worked with a number of clients of various age groups and diagnoses in a variety of settings including, in-home services, supported living, residential programs, and providing services via telehealth.
Nadine has a 1st Class Honours degree in Psychology from Queens University Belfast, and a Distinction in her Masters in ABA from Ulster University. Nadine has also completed 1500 independent supervised hours in part under the supervision of Pathway to Learning and the New England Center for Children in Boston and is a fully qualified Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
Nadine has a strong research interest in ABA, and her master’s thesis focused on the use of augmented competing stimulus assessments to reduce automatically maintained behaviours of interest. Nadine’s other interests within the field include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), clinical ABA, training and dissemination of ABA, and the experimental analysis of behaviour.
Nadine has been offering parent behavioural support and consultation since 2020 and works in the Newry/Louth/Armagh areas and is an asset to our team.
